Podcast Series from Spencer Health Solutions Showcases Innovators in Clinical Trials
“People Always, Patients Sometimes” hosts conversations with thought leaders who are defining the future of clinical trials and healthcare
MORRISVILLE, NC – September 9, 2019 – Spencer Health Solutions, Inc., a leader in home-based healthcare technology, today announced the launch of its new podcast series People Always, Patients Sometimes. The first episode in the series, which features industry innovators and patients shaping the future of clinical trials and care delivery airs today.
Featuring leaders such as Craig Lipset, a health tech advisor and former head of clinical innovation at Pfizer; Ken Getz, founder of the Center for Information and Study on Clinical Research Participation (CISCRP); and Darcy Forman, VP, Corporate Development at Firma Clinical Research, each episode in the series focuses on the challenges of empowering and engaging patients in the discovery and development of new treatments.

The podcast will be hosted by Janet Kennedy, founder and host of the Get Social Health podcast series that began in 2015. Kennedy is senior digital brand manager at Spencer and is a founding member of the Healthcare Podcasters Network. She also is a member of the external advisory board of the Mayo Clinic Social Media Network. In addition to Kennedy, others at Spencer will contribute commentary on People Always, Patients Sometimes.
